The special thing about V-belts is their shape. Due to their wedge-shaped design, they can transmit significantly higher torques than flat belts without requiring more space. In general, V-belts are endlessly welded and can be purchased either with or without a tension member – a steel or textile rope core. You can choose between rubber and polyurethane regarding the material.
